The “Next Step” Logic: After someone finishes an article, what is the logical next thing they’d want to know?
Link to that. You are acting as a guide, not a salesperson.
* Use Descriptive Text: Don’t just use “click here.” Instead, use the title of the post or a descriptive phrase like, “[Check out my guide on picking a domain name here].”
It tells both the reader and Google exactly what they’re about to click on.
* Audit Your Older Content: I regularly go back to my older, high-traffic posts and see if I can add a link to a newer, relevant article.
It gives your “evergreen” content new life and helps your newer posts get discovered.
